One day, Moses was taking care of sheep near Mount Horeb (also called the mountain of God). Suddenly, he saw something amazing, a bush was on fire, but it wasn't burning up! The flames danced around the bush, but the leaves stayed green. Moses was curious and decided to go closer to see this strange sight.

When he got near, God called to him from the bush, "Moses! Moses!" Moses answered, "Here I am." God told him to take off his sandals because he was standing on holy ground.

Then God gave Moses a very important mission, to go to Egypt and lead God's people out of slavery. This burning bush was the moment Moses met God and received his special calling!
