B is for Believe

Do you believe in superheroes? Well, you know what? God is the biggest superhero of all!

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

C is for Care

God cares about each and every one of us, more than we can imagine – even when things are hard or sad! He has awesome plans for us.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." ( Jeremiah 29:11)

D is for Delight

Think of something that makes you really, really happy – like eating ice cream or watching your favorite movie. Did you know that God delights in you – that means He loves you and really enjoys being with you!

"The Lord your God is with you, the mighty warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17)

E is for Everything

Here's something super cool about God – He can do absolutely everything. And I mean ANYTHING!

"Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'" (Matthew 19:26)

F is for Forgive

Did you ever mess up and say you were sorry? It feels good when someone forgives you, doesn't it? God is amazing at forgiveness!

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

G is for Guide

Ever feel a little lost, like you don't know what to do? God promises to guide us every step of the way, just like a compass does for explorers!

"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." (Psalm 119:105)

H is for Heaven

Heaven is the most amazing place you can imagine where God lives. No more sadness, no more pain – just pure happiness with God forever!

"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." (Revelations 21:4)

I is for Identity

Sometimes it's easy to let what other people say or think about us make us feel small. But in God's eyes, you are wonderfully made and perfect! He knows everything about you and loves you so much.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." (Psalm 139:14)

J is for Joy

Feeling a little grumpy? Guess what? God gives us true joy that shines in our hearts no matter what!

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. (Psalm 28:7)

K is for Kindness

Think of the nicest thing someone's ever done for you. God showers us with kindness all the time! Let's try to be extra kind to others, just like God is to us.

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32)

L is for Love

This is the biggest one of all – God's love is unending! It lasts forever and is stronger than anything you can dream up.

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them." (1 John 4:16)

M is for Mighty

Our God is like a super-duper powerful champion! He's mighty to protect us, mighty to love us, and mighty to always be there for us.

Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you." (Jeremiah 32:17)

N is for Never

It can be scary when things change. But guess what? God's love for us never, ever changes! He's the same amazing, caring God yesterday, today, and always.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." (Hebrews 13:8)

O is for Obey

You probably listen to your parents because they love you and want what's best for you, right? God always knows what's best, and when we obey His instructions in the Bible, wonderful things happen in our lives.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right." (Ephesians 6:1)

P is for Praise

Remember when you scored a goal in soccer or aced a test at school, and you felt super excited? That's kind of like praising God! We sing, shout, and dance to show God how much we love Him.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." (Psalm 150:6)

Q is for Quiet

Sometimes the world feels super loud with voices, worries, and things to do. God loves when we find quiet time to talk to Him and listen to what He has to say in our hearts.

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." (Psalm 46:10)

R is for Rejoice

This means being happy and celebrating! We have tons to rejoice about because God is so incredibly good.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!" (Philippians 4:4)

S is for Salvation

Salvation is a big word that means God saves us! Jesus, God's Son, came to earth to rescue us from the bad things in the world and gives us the gift of being part of God's forever family.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." (Ephesians 2:8)

T is for Trust

Remember that amazing superhero God we talked about? We can trust Him completely! Sometimes life gets confusing, but He always leads us in the right direction.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6)

U is for Understand

It's okay if you get a bit confused when reading the Bible. It's a pretty awesome and big book! Don't worry - ask a parent, pastor, or Sunday school teacher to help you understand what God is saying through His words.

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." (James 1:5)

V is for Victory

With God on our team, we always win! No matter what tough stuff we face, God gives us the strength and courage to be victorious.

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57)

W is for Wisdom

Have you ever asked your mom or dad for help solving a tricky problem? God loves to give us wisdom too! All we have to do is ask Him.

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." (James 1:5)

X is for eXcellent

Think about your favorite thing in the whole wide world – maybe pizza, your favorite toy, or going to the beach. Guess what? God is a million times better than anything we can imagine! He's super excellent.

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him." (Psalm 34:8)

Y is for Yoke

Wait, a yoke? That's the wooden thing farmers put on oxen to help them pull carts! Jesus says there's something special about His yoke - it's easy and light. That means when things feel super hard, Jesus walks beside us and gives us rest.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)

Z is for Zeal

Zeal means being super passionate and excited! Do you get really excited about your favorite sports team or doing a fun activity? We can have that same amazing zeal for God and share His love with everyone we meet.

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." (1 Peter 3:15)
